4T Medical has expanded its regenerative aesthetics offering with the launch of a new Class II Medical Device PRF Kit and Bio-Filler Gel Device, giving practitioners the option to prepare both platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and autologous bio-filler.
The new PRF Kit contains the sterile consumables required for blood collection, centrifugation and PRF preparation. Unlike PRP (platelet-rich plasma), PRF is prepared without anticoagulants, allowing a natural fibrin matrix to form containing platelets, leukocytes and growth factors. Its fibrin scaffold and gradual release of growth factors may support tissue repair and regeneration, making PRF increasingly relevant within regenerative aesthetics.
For practitioners looking to offer autologous bio-filler, the PRF Kit can also be used alongside the new 4T Medical Bio-Filler Gel Device. Platelet-poor plasma (PPP) is heated to form an albumin gel, which is then cooled and combined with injectable PRF (i-PRF) to create an autologous bio-filler.
The resulting bio-filler provides a subtle, temporary volumising effect, as the material is gradually broken down and reabsorbed by the body. It also has potential regenerative benefits that may help improve skin quality over time. Treatment areas can include the tear troughs, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheeks and temporal hollows.
