Breakthrough plasma shower technology to treat a variety of skin concerns
The new Dr Platon cold (non-thermal) atmospheric plasma pen employs plasma shower technology to treat a variety of skin concerns from fine lines to inflammation. It is especially effective for teenager and adult acne and balancing sebum production and can be used for the face and body from 12 years up.
Plasma Shower technology transforms the main gases in the air between the device tip and the patient’s skin – mainly Oxygen and Nitrogen – to cold plasma. As well as destroying acne bacteria, cold plasma can reduce inflammation and the symptoms of seborrhoea, eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and rosacea. It also accelerates healing, improves fine lines and wrinkles, and can help reduce pigmentation associated with photo-ageing. Dr Platon treatments can also be combined with suitable therapeutic solutions as it improves the absorption of active substances by the skin by almost 24%.
Traditional acne treatments can often be quite aggressive and painful, however cold plasma treatments by Dr Platon cause no pain or discomfort due to its adjustable plasma intensity, are quick to perform (10 minutes for a facial treatment), completely non-invasive and require no downtime!
The device comes with 3 interchangeable plasma tips (for treating narrow to broader areas), which are all ceramic to ensure optimal conductivity and safety.
