Aesthetic product supplier 4T Medical has just launched its first affordably-priced own label offering with a Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) kit. The new product is designed to provide all the components required for the fast and efficient preparation of autologous platelet rich plasma to help promote and accelerate the skin’s natural rejuvenation and healing process, also known as the ‘Vampire/Dracula’ face lift.
A registered medical device (CE 2195), the 4T Medical PRP kit includes 2 test tubes of 10ml with an anticoagulant solution and the consumables necessary for drawing blood. The anticoagulant is sodium citrate and blends perfectly with the plasma, preventing blood from clotting. It is a product physiologically present in all cells, and so is safe and non-toxic. After centrifugation, the platelet-rich plasma will settle on the surface of the tube and the buffy coat can be easily and accurately identified. The PRP can then be carefully injected into the skin to accelerate healing, increase collagen and connective tissue formation, leading to skin tightening and overall rejuvenation or used to stimulate hair growth.
