RED Light is used for treating the epidermis and has been shown to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin and so helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Red LED light is also thought to improve blood circulation and help with the penetration of active ingredients.
BLUE LED light reduces activity in the sebaceous glands and targets the bacteria responsible for acne. It can also calm sensitive, problematic skin.
GREEN light has a calming effect and can help lighten age spots, sun damage and hyperpigmentation for a brighter, more even complexion.
YELLOW light is used to relieve rosacea, flushed skin and redness. It can also help reduce melanin production.
SCALP DIODE is used to treat hair loss. It improves blood circulation and helps stimulate the hair follicles.
IR (barely visible near infrared light) penetrates even deeper that red light and triggers wound healing, decreases inflammation, and can help with pain relief and muscle relaxation.
Effect of Each Wavelength:

BLUE | 470nm | 1mm |
GREEN | 527nm | 0.5-2mm |
YELLOW | 592nm | 1-2mm |
DIODE | 635nm | 1-6mm |
IR | 850nm | 10mm |
Why use LED?
LED light treatments are quick, painless and have no downtime. They can also be combined with other aesthetic treatments to enhance results. Unlike other types of light therapy, LEDs do not contain ultraviolet rays, so are safe to use and side effects are rare. The low energy emitted also means there is little risk of damage to the eyes or skin and it is suitable for use on all Fitzpatrick skin types.
Training:
With every purchase of the Cube Light, we are providing complimentary access to a LED distant learning training course which may be useful for insurance purposes.
