Alyval MED Intimate Cream

Alyval Med Intimate Cream is a soothing, moisturising formula designed to help restore balance and comfort in the intimate area, while supporting overall skin health. It provides gentle yet effective care to help relieve discomfort associated with vulvodynia, dyspareunia, and allergic contact eczema, including redness, itching, burning and irritation.

Gynaecologically tested and formulated to support metabolic-sensory modulation, it is designed to deliver long-lasting relief to delicate intimate areas.

It is free from steroids, analgesics and oestrogen, making it suitable for long-term use.

Alyval Med Intimate Care helps to:

  • Reduce itching, burning and irritation
  • Support the adjunct treatment of vulvodynia (including vestibulodynia)
  • Reduce discomfort during sexual intercourse (dyspareunia)
  • Soothe symptoms of allergic contact eczema, which may be triggered by underwear, latex, tampons and other irritants

The innovative pealiquitech™ technology

Pealiquitech™ Technology

At the heart of this innovation is Alyval’s patented pealiquitech™ technology, featuring PEA (palmitoylethanolamide). PEA is a naturally occurring molecule produced by the body and known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, antimicrobial, and neuroprotective properties. However, due to its poor solubility, PEA is typically difficult for the skin to absorb.

Due to its low solubility, PEA can be difficult to deliver effectively in topical formulations. The pealiquitech™ system uses a proprietary solubilisation process to help maintain PEA in a stable, active and bioavailable form, supporting controlled release and effective delivery to the skin.

Other added ingredients include hyaluronic acid, argireline and vitamin B12.

In Vivo Tests

Randomised, double-blind gynaecological clinical study conducted at Vittore Buzzi Hospital, Milan on 40 women with vestibulodynia, a condition often presenting as burning, stinging, or discomfort on contact with the vestibular area.  The aim was to evaluate the cosmetic efficacy of Alyval MED after 2 months of daily application.

The study showed that the use of Alyval MED was associated with a 45% reduction in perceived discomfort during common contact situations, compared with the placebo group.

Med In Vitro Test

The skin appeared calmer and less reactive following treatment. Current Perception Threshold (CPT) testing using a Neurometer at 2000 Hz, 250 Hz and 5 Hz demonstrated an approximately 19% increase in perceptual threshold in the Alyval MED treatment group, indicating reduced sensitisation of vestibular nerve fibres.

  • pealiquitech™: Has anti-inflammatory, soothing, antimicrobial, immunomodulatory and neuroprotective properties. PEA also has an ‘entourage effect’, amplifying the effectiveness of other active compounds.
  • Annona extract: Derived from the cherimoya fruit, rich in proteins and cyclopeptides. Acts as a neurocosmetic, supporting the skin’s endocannabinoid system via CB2 receptor activation. Helps balance skin homeostasis, lowers cortisol (“stress hormone”), and improves skin comfort, elasticity, and radiance, especially on delicate areas.
  • Argireline: A peptide with “botox-like” action, but non-invasive. In intimate care, it reduces local muscle tension, providing anti-aging, relaxation, and relief, particularly useful in conditions like vulvodynia and dyspareunia.
  • Hyaluronic acid: High molecular weight form with strong water-binding capacity. Creates a protective film that hydrates, plumps, and smooths the skin, reducing dryness and fine lines.
  • Vitamin B12: Essential for skin health, with soothing and regenerating action. Improves comfort of stressed skin and gives the cream a natural pink hue, symbolising freshness and vitality.

Secondary Ingredients:

  • Bisabolol: Soothing, anti-inflammatory, stimulates hyaluronic acid synthesis, reduces redness, protects sensitive skin.
  • Vitamin E: Antioxidant that prevents aging signs, improves softness, and shields against irritation.
  • Vitamin F: Rich in essential fatty acids, supports cell renewal, strengthens barrier, reduces dryness.
  • Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5): Regenerates, soothes irritation, improves hydration, elasticity, and tone.
  • Allantoin: Promotes cell turnover, reduces irritation, leaving skin smoother and healthier.
  • Rice starch: Absorbs excess sebum and moisture, keeps skin dry, silky, and comfortable.

 

After cleansing the intimate area with Alyval Vital Cleanser, apply a small amount of Alyval Med Intimate Cream directly to the area and gently massage. Use daily or as needed. For external use.
