The PRP tube set includes 2 test tubes of 10ml with separator gel and biocompatible anticoagulant.
Magnetic Thixotropic gel safely separates the platelets from the erythrocytes and leukocytes, to obtain autologous plasma of high therapeutic value.
After centrifugation, the platelets thicken on the surface of the gel and the separator gel can be easily and accurately identified.
The biocompatible anticoagulant is a mixture of sodium citrate and citric acid in liquid form and blends perfectly with the plasma, preventing blood from clotting. It is a product physiologically present in all cells, and so is safe and non-toxic.
Please note you need a centrifuge to use the tubes.
