With over 14 years of experience in the beauty industry, I had the opportunity to take part in extensive training with doctors and specialists across the country. While this equipped me with expert knowledge, it lacked diversity. “The student becomes the teacher” very much applied. In recent months, I found myself teaching the trainers about Black skin – and I wanted to change that!
The Curlita Academy was born out of a personal journey to provide inclusive and high-quality mentorship and qualifications to people that aspire to kick-start their career in the beauty industry and beyond.
From basic beauty like nails and lashes to medical grade skincare and semi-permanent makeup tattooing, we work in partnership with one of the UK and Ireland’s best medical skin care and aesthetics distributors to deliver some of the best training courses and products across the country.
We pride ourselves on accessibility. While the Academy is based in the midlands, we offer both online and in-clinic courses. And if that’s not enough, we can travel to you too!
